Competition terms
These terms apply alongside the specific information shown on each competition page. If the specific page conflicts with these general terms, the specific page takes priority.
Promoter
The promoter is CoCollectibles Ltd. Contact and address details are in the business identity section.
Eligibility
Entrants must be 18 or over, resident in the United Kingdom, use accurate account details and comply with any per-person entry limit. Employees and anyone directly involved in administering a competition may not enter.
How to enter
Follow the instructions, answer the skill question and submit the entry before the stated closing time. Paid entries are not accepted until Stripe confirms payment. Automated, bulk, fraudulent or duplicate-account entries may be rejected.
Entry limits and closing
The prize, price, maximum entries, per-person limit and closing time are displayed on the relevant competition. We may close entry early when the stated maximum is reached. Material changes will be communicated fairly and will not disadvantage valid existing entrants.
Winner selection
A winner is selected fairly from valid entries after closing using the secure draw process recorded by the site. Entry quantity affects the number of valid entries in the draw. We will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using their account email and provided contact details.
Prizes
Prizes are as described, subject to availability, non-transferable and have no cash alternative unless the stated prize becomes unavailable. We aim to arrange delivery within 30 days after the winner is verified and provides the required delivery information.
Failed or invalid paid entries
If payment succeeds but a valid entry cannot be allocated because the competition has closed, filled, reached a user limit or no longer exists, the payment will be refunded to the original payment method. Refund processing times are controlled by the payment provider and bank.
Publicity and privacy
We may publish a winner’s display name or first name and county where legally required or reasonably necessary to demonstrate a fair award. We will not publish full addresses or payment information. See our Privacy Policy.
Fairness and disqualification
We may disqualify entries affected by fraud, manipulation, multiple accounts, false details, abuse or technical interference. Decisions will be made reasonably and evidence will be retained where appropriate.
These terms support transparent operation but do not replace specialist legal advice on the Gambling Act 2005, CAP Code or individual competition design.
Copyright, software and intellectual property
What belongs to CoCollectibles and what does not.
© 2026 CoCollectibles Ltd. Original material is protected subject to applicable ownership, third-party rights and open-source licences.
Copyright protection may apply automatically to original website copy, software source code, interface artwork, original graphics, photography, documentation and original database structure created for CoCollectibles. Where applicable, database rights and design rights may also protect qualifying material.
You may use the website and software for their intended purpose. You may not copy, republish, sell, sublicense, scrape, reproduce, distribute or create derivative commercial products from protected CoCollectibles material without permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Open-source packages and third-party components remain subject to their own licences. Nothing on this page claims ownership of third-party card artwork, photographs, logos, player likenesses, league marks, manufacturer designs or other material owned by somebody else.
Third-party brands, card data and affiliation
Names used to identify products remain the property of their respective owners.
References to eBay, Topps, Fanatics, Panini, Pokémon, sports leagues, clubs, players, grading companies and other manufacturers or rights holders are used for identification, compatibility, cataloguing or descriptive purposes.
All third-party trade marks, logos, copyrighted images and product names belong to their respective owners. Unless we expressly say otherwise, their appearance on the service does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership or affiliation with CoCollectibles.
CoLister AI terms of use
AI-assisted listing tools require a final human review.
CoLister AI is an assistance tool. Recognition results, checklists, titles, descriptions, card attributes, serial-number interpretation, category suggestions and pricing evidence can be incomplete or incorrect. They are not a professional grading, authentication, appraisal or valuation service.
You remain responsible for checking each listing before saving, preparing or publishing it, including the identity of the card, condition, serial number, price, quantity, postage, returns, category, item specifics and any legally required disclosure.
CoLister may prevent or flag publishing where automated safeguards identify a possible error, duplicate or account mismatch. Safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee a correct listing or prevent every error.
We may change, suspend or withdraw beta or experimental functionality, rate limits or integrations where reasonably required for security, legal compliance, platform rules, maintenance or service integrity.
CoLister subscriptions: where subscription checkout is enabled, the plan, price in GBP and monthly recurring charge are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can manage payment details, invoices and cancellation from CoLister Subscription. Cancellation timing is shown in Stripe and your subscription status; it does not automatically refund a previous charge.
Included successful-scan allowances refresh with the subscription billing period and unused included scans do not roll over. Failed recognition attempts do not consume successful-scan allowance. Gold is subject to a 5,000-successful-scan safeguard per billing period; contact us if you need a higher allowance. Paying does not override a private-beta invitation requirement unless paid access has been opened.
Payment failures, expiry or cancellation can suspend subscription scan access. Your saved drafts remain associated with your account. Stripe processes card details; CoCollectibles stores billing identifiers, subscription status and usage records, rather than full card numbers or security codes. Test-mode checkout does not charge real money.
Your statutory cancellation and refund rights are not affected. Contact contact@cocollectibles.co.uk about a refund or billing issue. Material changes to an existing subscription's price will be communicated before they take effect where required.
eBay connection and account security
What CoLister does — and does not — store when you connect eBay.
When you authorise CoLister, eBay returns secure OAuth authorisation tokens. CoCollectibles stores the access and refresh tokens needed to keep the connection active and perform eBay actions that you request. In the current service these tokens are encrypted before storage and are not displayed to users or exposed in normal application responses.
We may retrieve account information from eBay that is necessary to provide the feature you requested, such as seller identity information, listing data, Business Policies, inventory locations, active listings and listing status. We do not store your eBay password or your eBay payment-card credentials.
Using Disconnect eBay removes the stored CoLister eBay connection-token record from our service. You can also manage third-party application permissions through your eBay account. Some historical CoLister records, such as drafts, scan history or listing references, may remain where required to provide account history, security, audit or legal records.
eBay is a separate third-party service. Your use of eBay remains subject to eBay's own terms, policies, seller standards and account restrictions. CoCollectibles cannot guarantee that eBay will accept, keep live or rank any listing.
AI processing, card images and learning data
How scan information is used to provide CoLister.
When you use recognition features, uploaded card photographs and associated listing context may be processed by AI service providers, including OpenAI, so that CoLister can return structured recognition results. Service logs may record technical metadata such as model, token usage, scan outcome, duration and estimated API cost.
Where learning features are enabled, confirmed corrections may be stored as structured correction data or visual fingerprints so that future recognition can improve. We aim to store the minimum information reasonably needed for that purpose and may aggregate or de-identify operational information where appropriate.
Do not upload confidential material, identity documents, payment-card information, passwords, private correspondence or images you do not have permission to use merely to test the scanner.
User content and licence to operate the service
You keep ownership of content you already own.
You retain your rights in original photographs, listing text and other content that you upload. By uploading content, you give CoCollectibles a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, resize, process, transmit and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, improve and support the service and the actions you request.
You must have the necessary rights or permission to upload and use content. You must not knowingly upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive or privacy-invasive material.
We may remove or restrict content where reasonably necessary to comply with law, third-party rights, eBay/platform requirements, security obligations or these terms.
CoCollectibles Marketplace
Current preview status and future seller responsibility.
While the Marketplace is labelled private preview, real checkout, payouts and other live transaction functions remain disabled. Preview data, simulated orders or protection cases are for testing and do not create a real purchase contract.
The current Marketplace preview uses a buyer-protection fee of 5% of each seller order’s item subtotal plus 50p, excluding postage. Sellers keep their item price and receive the buyer-paid postage allowance to cover delivery. Full simulated protection refunds include the fee; partial refunds retain it. Preview orders take no real payment.
If live marketplace trading is enabled later, additional buyer, seller, fee, protection, payout, KYC, tax-reporting and dispute terms may apply. Those terms will be presented before the relevant live functionality is used.
Sellers are responsible for having the right to sell listed items, describing them accurately, complying with applicable consumer and tax obligations, and not listing counterfeit, stolen, prohibited or infringing goods.
Acceptable use
Rules that protect users, the service and connected platforms.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access, credential theft, security bypassing or interference with the service.
- Do not use automated scraping, bulk extraction or reverse engineering to reproduce protected databases, software or service logic, except where law expressly permits it.
- Do not upload malware or deliberately overload APIs, queues or infrastructure.
- Do not use CoLister to create knowingly false, deceptive, counterfeit or rights-infringing listings.
- Do not use another person's account, eBay authorisation or data without permission.
- Do not use the service in a way that breaches eBay rules or any applicable law.
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, comply with law or protect connected services.
Availability, disclaimers and liability
Important limits without removing statutory rights.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every third-party API, AI result, listing, valuation signal, catalogue entry or integration will always be accurate or available.
Nothing in these notices excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer protection law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Subject to mandatory law, CoCollectibles is not responsible for losses caused solely by third-party platform outages, eBay account restrictions, user-supplied incorrect data, failure to review an AI-generated listing, or decisions made solely from indicative pricing information.
Copyright and intellectual-property complaints
A clear route for rights holders to contact us.
If you believe material hosted by CoCollectibles infringes your copyright, trade mark or other intellectual-property right, email contact@cocollectibles.co.uk with enough information for us to identify the material and understand the claimed right.
Please include your name and contact details, the URL or listing concerned, a description of the protected work or mark, the reason you believe the use is unauthorised, and evidence that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
We may temporarily restrict disputed content while we investigate and may ask either side for additional evidence before deciding what action is appropriate.
Security and responsible disclosure
Please report vulnerabilities privately.
If you discover a security issue, contact contact@cocollectibles.co.uk and give us reasonable time to investigate before making technical details public. Do not access, alter, download or retain other users' data while testing a suspected issue.
We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes, severability and governing law
How these notices are interpreted.
We may update these legal notices to reflect changes to the service, law, business structure or third-party integrations. Material changes should be brought to users' attention where required by law.
If part of these notices is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as legally possible.
These notices are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction rules that apply where you live.
This Legal & Trust Centre is designed to explain the current service transparently. It does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded and it is not a substitute for tailored legal advice where specialist advice is required.
